5th Annual “Dr. King Day of Advocacy at the Virginia State Capitol”
Although the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a state and federal holiday, our state legislature is in session on this date, and depending on who is in power, this day has been used to pass some of Virginia's most drastic laws. The Dr. King Day of Advocacy is a "Day on the Hill" that gives citizens of Virginia the opportunity to advocate for policies on the state level that impact the communities and citizens of color in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We are honored to have your financial support of this unique commemorative event celebrating the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
